Ramon Allones
Founded in 1837, Ramón Allones is the second oldest active Cuban cigar brand.
Allones revolutionized packaging by introducing decorative branded labels on his cigar boxes, a practice now adopted by every other brand. During its ownership by Hunters & Frankau from 1911 to 1927, the brand thrived, notably in the UK. However, today, it is less well known and is considered an ‘industry’ cigar in the UK, with many people working in the trade preferring the blend to some other more high-profile alternatives.
Ramón Allones are all 'tripa larga, totalmente a mano' - long filler, totally handmade - and use the finest leaves from Vuelta Abajo.
