Montecristo

Established in 1935 and taking its name from Alexandre Dumas' "The Count of Montecristo," Montecristo is often held up as the benchmark against which all other Habanos can be measured. 

Initially offering a simple range numbered 1 to 5, Montecristo has expanded to include one of the widest ranges of vitolas among the 27 different Habanos brands.

In 2009, the brand introduced the Montecristo Open Series, featuring four sizes with a lighter flavour profile. Then in  2017, La Linea 1935 added a full-flavoured option. Montecristo cigars, whether from the classic line, the lighter Open Series, or the robust Linea 1935, are renowned for their balanced blends and spicy, ‘tangy’ taste.

Montecristos are all 'tripa larga, totalmente a mano' - long filler, totally handmade -  and use the finest leaves from Vuelta Abajo.
