Jose L. Piedra

José L. Piedra is unique in the world of Havana cigars as the only brand to use filler tobaccos from the Remedios region.  Originally from the Spanish province of Asturias, the Piedra family arrived in Cuba during the 1880s, settling in the tobacco-rich Remedios area near Santa Clara. A region with a history of tobacco cultivation since the 16th century. The brand's development was significantly advanced by José Lamadrid Piedra, a second-generation family member, whose many different contributions include giving his name to the brand.

Typically described as robust and rustic, José L. Piedra are presented in simple Mazos (bundles) of 12 or 25 cigars.

All José L. Piedra are’ tripa corta, totalmente a mano – short filler  totally handmade and use the finest leaves from Remedios.
