La Flor de Cano
La Flor de Cano was established in Havana in 1932 by Consuela and Juan Cano Sainz. It started as a humble operation involving a single cigar roller at their kitchen table. This quickly grew into a substantial family business, achieving a milestone with its brand registration in Spain in 1936.
The 1950s marked the company's transition to machine production for many of its cigars, something that continued until a recent shift toward making short filler handmade sizes.
However, when the brand is occasionally selected to create Regional Editions in various markets around the world, the cigars are made using the 'tripa larga, totalmente a mano'—long filler, totally handmade method
La Flor de Cano are Tripa Corta, Totalmente a Mano - short filler, totally handmade and use tobacco harvested from Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta
