Partagas
For years the Partagás factory, located at No. 520 Industria Street in Havana, behind the Capitol, was a site of pilgrimage for cigar aficionados from across the world. Sadly, it is now closed, and the rollers have been relocated. However, the brand remains the world’s favourite full flavoured Habanos.
Established by Don Jaime Partagás in 1845, the cigars are renowned for their rich, earthy flavours and striking red bands.
The brand has a comprehensive range of shapes and sizes, including the celebrated Lusitania, the 8-9-8, named for its unique packaging arrangement and the Alphabet Series. Among the most acclaimed is the Serie D No.4, a robusto size from the 1930s that is now the world’s favourite Havana cigar.
Partagás are all 'tripa larga, totalmente a mano' - long filler, totally handmade - and use the finest leaves from Vuelta Abajo.
