La Invicta
La Invicta (The Undefeated) have always been made for the British palate and today offers a blend of tradition and quality at an accessible price point.
First established in the 1940’s, and using Jamaican tobacco, La Invicta was a way to continue supplying cigars to the UK during the various trade sanctions and currency restrictions that had been imposed globally due to the Second World War.
Today there are two distinct blends, made in Honduras and Nicaragua respectively and each using long filler tobacco.
The Nicaraguan range is known for its richer, fuller-bodied flavours, showcasing notes of spice and earth, while the Honduran cigars offer a milder, more nuanced experience, with hints of sweetness.
The Honduran cigars are made at the Tabacos De Oriente Factory using tobaccos taken from Talanga and Jamastran.
The Nicaraguan cigars use tobacco from Esteli, Jalapa and Condega, and are made at Plasencia Cigar Factory.
